On Sunday, June 28, Central had a special morning worship service. Bishop Sue Haupert-Johnson delivered the message that morning, presided over communion, and led a ceremonial burning of the repair bills as Central celebrates its recent renovations. The new roof and interior sanctuary work, totaling nearly $600,000, are now complete. Both the interior and exterior of the church look great. The renovations were possible thanks to the donations to Central’s endowment, especially the generous support from the estate of Dr. Bob Hanson.

Also participating in the service were Rev. Alan Combs, Valley Ridge District and Rev. Dale White, Valley Ridge District Clergy Excellent.
